hi genlayer team,
i’m reaching out here because the discord support channel auto-mod
blocked my detailed migration request and i haven’t received a dm
response yet. wanted to make sure the request lands somewhere visible
to the team.
summary
participant id: 0x6658094726b9dfd597a0afbd85b86f8676b92902
current handle: unifyweb3
two unrelated incidents hit my web3 identity last week :
-
the wallet linked to my genlayer account was compromised. the
address is no longer safe to use, and i need to migrate to a new one. -
my x account @unifyweb3 was suspended for inauthentic behavior
(unrelated to point 1). i’ve created a new account @oxunify, which
is where i now post my work.
what i’m requesting
i’m in the middle of submitting an educational content contribution
to the builder program - my project called the jury
(https://genlayer-jury.vercel.app). the 7-day build was done from a
linux machine independently of the compromised address, so the code
and submission are clean. but my ability to submit is blocked because :
- i can’t move my submission to a new wallet under the existing account
- the twitter oauth on my account is locked to the suspended @unifyweb3 handle
i’d like to request a manual update to my participant account:
- new wallet address: 0x381b78f0c90a29ce2acdb718a9a4e1387004d3c7
- new x handle: @0xunify
identity verification
i can prove ownership of both. i control :
- the new wallet (happy to sign a message from it)
- the new x account (can post a verification tweet from @oxunify)
- the github repo: GitHub - unifyWeb3/genlayer-jury · GitHub
- the deployed app: genlayer-jury.vercel.app
all commits and deploys are dated across the last 7 days from my dev
machine. happy to verify identity through any method the team prefers.
if migration isn’t possible, i’ll create a fresh participant account
instead but wanted to ask first since my contribution work is already
tied to the existing id.
thanks for any guidance.
genn.
